FRS Shipmanagement, founded 2011 in Limassol (Cyprus), is a subsidiary of Germany based FRS. FRS is a shipping company with more than 150 years of experience. The family owned company has grown from a regional passenger ferry operator to an internationally active business group operating 73 vessels and worldwide more than 2,000 employees.

FRS, with its headquarters in the North German city of Flensburg, has a portfolio that comprises 24 operating subsidiaries located in Europe, North Africa, the Middle East and North America. FRS carries on numerous national and international ferry and catamaran lines around 8 million passengers and 2.1 million vehicles every year. Nowadays FRS owns, manages and operates a varied fleet of classic conventional crafts, modern double-ended ferries, water taxis, a hovercraft and some of the fastest high speed ferries in the world. In addition, FRS operates five small solar ferries on the growing market of alternative energy.

Besides passenger and vehicle transportation FRS provides a wide range of additional services, like for crew transfer services to offshore wind farms in the Baltic and the North Sea, port management services, consultancy and maritime services, ranging from feasibility studies to new buildings, supervision to implementation and monitoring.
